LOTOS Kolej has opened a transport division in Poznań, and, what is more, LOTOS Terminale has a fuel depot located there. This capital city of Wielkopolska constitutes a “gateway to Europe” in terms of intermodal rail freight.

The new division has perfect conditions for development. Our employees have more than 250 meters of railway line for the secure parking of fuel tank cars. The final stage included works on leasing a transhipment site of 4,000 square metres.

“Our basic task is supporting the fuel storage system of LOTOS Terminale and furthering development in Poland and Germany”, says Adam Podkowa, Director of the Transport Division in Poznań. “We are continuing to invest in developing the qualifications of our employees, such as a course for 13 train drivers who will soon start operating in Germany”.

One of the participants in the event was a representative of LOTOS Terminale, who has shown great satisfaction and expectations related to the dynamic development of LOTOS Kolej transport in Wielkopolska.

“I believe that the preliminary assumptions relating to the level of cooperation between our companies, rated at 100%, will be surpassed by opening this new division in Poznań and go on to achieve 110%, positively influencing the operations of the whole LOTOS Capital Group”, says Paweł Laszuk, representative of the fuel storage facility of LOTOS Terminale in Poznań.
