The Supervisory Board of Grupa LOTOS S.A. has closed the recruitment process to select members of the Company's Management Board, appointing Messrs Robert Pietryszyn, Mateusz Bonca, Marcin Jastrzębski, and Przemysław Marchlewicz to the vacant positions.

The Supervisory Board of Grupa LOTOS S.A. has closed the recruitment process to select members of the Company's Management Board, appointing Messrs Robert Pietryszyn, Mateusz Bonca, Marcin Jastrzębski, and Przemysław Marchlewicz to the vacant positions.

On May 13th 2016, the month-long recruitment process to select members of the Grupa LOTOS Management Board was closed. Having reviewed several dozen applications and carried out interviews with selected candidates, the Company's Supervisory Board appointed new members to the Management Board.

The new members are:  Mr Robert Pietryszyn, who is President of the Management Board as from May 13th 2016;  Mr Mateusz Bonca, who will be Vice-President of the Management Board, Chief Strategy and Development Officer, as from June 1st 2016; Mr Marcin Jastrzębski, who is Vice-President of the Management Board, Chief Operating Officer, as from May 13th 2016; and Mr Przemysław Marchlewicz, who will be Vice-President for Corporate Affairs as from May 17th 2016.

The other members of the Management Board of Grupa LOTOS S.A. are Mr Maciej Szozda, Chief Refining and Marketing Officer, and  Mr Mariusz Machajewski, Chief Financial Officer.

Mr Robert Pietryszyn is a graduate of law from the University of Wrocław and holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from the Wrocław University of Economy, where he also completed Post-Graduate Managerial Studies in Enterprise Management.

He has experience in serving on supervisory boards of listed companies, including Grupa LOTOS S.A. (as Chairman), RUCH S.A. (as Chairman) and Polcolorit S.A. He was President of Wrocław 2012, where he was responsible for investment projects, commercial matters and the UEFA Euro 2012 project in Wrocław. His professional experience includes work for the KGHM Group and PKO BP S.A., as well as business consultancy, including investment banking and IPO advisory. Mr Pietryszyn served as member of the Management Board of PZU S.A., where he was in charge of, inter alia, international operations.

Mr Mateusz Aleksander Bonca, born in 1980, PhD, has many years of international experience in providing strategic management and advisory services to leading industrial and financial companies in Europe, Africa and the Middle East.

A graduate of the Warsaw School of Economics, he also studied at Al Akhawayn University in Morocco. Mr Bonca has a PhD in economics, obtained from the Kozminski University in Warsaw in 2009, and has authored numerous publications and papers presented at international conferences.

He was employed at McKinsey & Company in 2004–2010, and served as a manager at Peppers and Rogers Group Middle East in United Arab Emirates from 2010 to 2012. In 2012–2016, Mr Bonca was a director at Deutsche Bank AG in Frankfurt am Main. In the past, he was also an intern at Deloitte & Touche and MARSH.

Mateusz Bonca prepared and implemented strategic changes at a number of corporations, including in Poland, the Czech Republic, the United Kingdom, Italy, United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Belgium, South Africa, and Turkey.

He speaks fluent English, has a good command of German, and basic knowledge of Classical Arabic and Moroccan Arabic.

Mr Marcin Jastrzębski studied at the Faculty of Economic Sciences of the University of Warsaw, the Faculty of Social Sciences and Administration of the Warsaw Academy of Computer Science, Management and Administration, and the University of Liverpool (a course in Management of the Gas and Oil Sector).

He is a former Honorary Consul of Georgia in Poland.

In 1997–2006 and 2008−2013, Mr Jastrzębski worked at Polkomtel S.A. as an IT Systems Administrator, Deputy Director of the IT Strategy and Management Department, Director of the IT Systems Management Department, IT Managing Director, and Head of the Central Procurement Department.

In 2006–2008, he served as Member of the Management Board of PERN Przyjaźń S.A., in charge of Strategy and Operations. In 2006–2010, he was President of the Management Board of MPR Sarmatia. In 2013–2015, he was President of the Management Board of Gazoprojekt S.A. In 1999–2007, he sat on the Supervisory Boards of WARS Sp. z o.o., RADPEC S.A., PERN Przyjaźń S.A., and Naftoport Sp. z o.o. From April 12th to May 13th 2016, he served as Member of the Supervisory Board of Grupa LOTOS S.A.

Mr Przemysław Marchlewicz (1978), a lawyer and manager (MBA, Harvard Business School Management Program). Mr Marchlewicz began his professional career working for a law firm and a provincial self-government (as member of the Board of the Province of Gdańsk in 2002-2004).

A business manager since 2004. Until 2008, he managed public enterprises as Vice-President of the Management Board of Agencja Rozwoju Pomorza SA, President of the Management Board of Morski Port Gdynia SA, and member of the supervisory boards of various other companies.

From 2008, Mr Marchlewicz successfully operated his own business, embarking on innovative projects, mainly in finance and the energy sector. He was an investor and participant (authorised adviser) on the NewConnect market. He carried out renewable energy and smart lighting projects. His recent occupations include being the main shareholder and President of the Management Board of RTB Developer Sp. z o.o. (one of the largest developers of photovoltaic farms in Poland), shareholder and President of the Management Board of VARSO Sp. z o.o. (producer of innovative RES equipment), as well as investor in start-ups engaged in energy sector R&D projects. Secretary of the Supervisory Board of Zarząd Morskiego Portu Gdańsk SA.

Born and living in Sopot. Along with his business engagements, Mr Marchlewicz also pursued social and political projects − as a scout instructor and member of the local government (treasurer of the Polish Scouting and Guiding Association in 2009, member of the Provincial Parliament in 2010-2014).
